Overview
Learn how Under the Umbrella implemented a structured morning routine and plan during their successful summer program. Creating a routine allowed children to be prepared for camp by eliminating uncertainty. Teachers were stationed at all of the different activities areas to facilitate play so that all children felt engaged and were encouraged to participate.

Lesli, a certified Special Education teacher, is the founder and director of Special Effects Learning Link and Under the Umbrella, a school specifically designed for children diagnosed on the Autism spectrum. Lesli has always envisioned a school where children are able to receive appropriate services and the children and their families are successful in all areas of development. Lesli continues to bring awareness to the community by speaking at various seminars and conferences on topics such as Special Education Strategies & Services and Developing Goals & Objectives. She is currently pursuing her Masters degree in Reading & Math.
