Knowing what to avoid when designing the layout of a classroom is very important. Francesca shows examples of typical classroom setups that can pose problems for students with special needs. Learn how to eliminate confusion and create an environment that promotes success for students with special needs.
Presenter
Francesca holds a Masters degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Autism Intervention, achieved after recovering from a life-threatening health issue and a re-evaluation of her life and career. Making the career change from business to education proved to be the best decision she ever made, filling her life with a great purpose and passion. She teaches elementary children on the spectrum in the public school system, and is currently pursuing her BCBA certification (Board Certified Behavior Analyst).
