Overview
Pam shares the importance of mentors to parents of children with Autism. As a former classroom teacher and now the mother of three young children, she has seen first hand the strength that can be gained from having mentors in the community to help guide you during the journey.
Presenter
Pam is a former early childhood educator and is the proud parent to three wonderful children. Pam has a daughter and fraternal twin boys that keep her busy on a daily basis. Brandon (who is a fraternal twin) is currently seven years old and has high functioning autism. Pam's extensive classroom experience as a general education teacher gave her the incredible opportunity to work with children who have autism. Years later, Pam found her classroom experience to be extremely beneficial as her own son learns to manage life with autism.
