I'm a serial baker and mother of two girls (one on the autism spectrum). I love sharing my recipes and tips for GFCF cooking and baking.

I moved with my husband to Dallas four years ago, where he is husband completing his postdoctoral training in Molecular Biochemistry at UTSWMC. Prior to moving to Dallas, I spent nearly six years working as an administrative assistant to several research scientists. Currently I am a stay-at-home mom raising two daughters, ages 3 and 5. My oldest daughter was diagnosed with ASD at 3 ½ years old. After recently learning that both my daughters have food allergies and sensitivities, I converted my kitchen to be free of gluten, casein, peanut and soy. After seeing both daughters’ health improve dramatically, and documenting the changes the diet produced in her daughter with ASD, I am now committed to making the GFCF diet easy, accessible and fun for the whole family. When not busy with the kids, I am busy in the kitchen churning through all my old, beloved recipes (and they are legion), adapting them to be “diet friendly”. I also enjoy blogging about my family’s experience with ASD, volunteering at church when I can, and dreaming of going to culinary school.

You can find more GFCF recipes and read about my family’s adventures in ASD here: http://myaspergersgirl.blogspot.com/.
