I drank a cup of spit the other day.
“The other day” is one of my pet expressions, and my wife Carrie rightfully teases me about it because, when I say it, I might mean two days ago or fifteen years ago. In this case, it was two weeks ago… or maybe a month… two months at the most – let’s stick with “the other day” – and I can still taste the spit’s refreshing peppermint vileness.
