I am the single mother of a 13 yr. old (who was diagnosed in Kindergarten) with Asperger Syndrome. I am also a certified Texas teacher with supplemental Sp. Ed. certification. I have horror stories about the treatment my son received from various teachers and administrators over the years. I learned some things the hard way, and I wouldn't wish those lessons on any parent.
