Blame It On The Rain?

Researchers at the Archives of Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine recently released a study in which they measured rainfall and compared rainfall in California, Oregon, & Washington. The purpose of this study is to more closely investigate the theory of environmental exposure being a root cause of autism. Their findings do note that there is a higher rate of autism per capita than other states with lower precipitation levels.

Public Health Risk Seen as Parents Reject Vaccines

Physicians are concerned about a rise in a recent rise of measles cases in California. Of the 12 reported cases, 9 were from families that chose to not vaccinate their children, the other 3 children were too young to receive the measles vaccine.
