Counterpoint! CDC's Recent MMR/Vaccine Research Flawed

The National Autism Association (NAA), shortly after the CDC released it's findings claiming to debunk the myth of the MMR vaccine being a contributing factor to autism, calls the research flawed. The NAA also brings to light that vaccine safety should be handled by an independent 3rd party, as currently the CDC owns all patents, and is in charge of promotion, putting them in a conflict of interest.

Further Testing of MMR Vaccine Yields No Autism Link

With measles cases at a recent all time high, a study released today by Dr. W. Ian Lipkin and other researchers at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons alleges that their findings prove that there is no link between the MMR vaccine and autism.

Measles Outbreak In 15 States

A recent outbreak of measles is being reported to have occured in 15 states. More than 120 cases have been reported making it the biggest measles outbreak in 10 years. The CDC has issued a statement that the outbreak has been traced back to travelers who became sick overseas and returned to the United States, infecting others.
