Kathye Petters-Armitage's followed all the usual vaccination protocol when her first child was born, vaccinating on schedule. Now with her second child a few years later and the controversy surrounding the possible link between autism and vaccines, she's had a change of heart and has decided like many parents to spread out the vaccinations or skip some altogether, with or without the blessing of her pediatrician.

Autism in this upcoming election has been a hot topic of discussion amongst the Presidential candidates. Many want to see an overhaul to insurance coverage, therapies, and the special education system.

Division continues among the medical community and some parents of children with autism. Many still believe that vaccines caused their child's autism though no link has yet been found in scientific studies.

The CDC and Medical community are scrambling to reassure the general public that vaccines do not cause autism. Statements are being made that the recent ruling is in no way and admission of guilt, but more that in Hannah's case a rare condition led to an even more rare consequence.
