United Kingdom Trying To Make Things Better

In the UK, Care Services Minister Ivan Lewis announced yesterday that government research will be launched to approximate the number of autistic adults and attempt to meet their needs. It has been recently noted in a 2006 studdy that autism affects 1 in every 100 people in the UK. Recent articles over the past few months have keyed in on those affected by autism and the dependency that they have on their families as services in the UK leave much to be desired. Hopefully this new push will change things for the better.

Campaign in the UK to Utilize Assistance Dogs for Children Affected by ASD

An estimated 72,000 children between ages 3-10 are affected by Autism. A campaign recently started that will help raise funds to give assistance dogs to those children affected.
