A key study measuring children with autism versus children without showed that blood mercury levels were similar in both parties possibly ruling out mercury as a contributing factor in autism. In the link the 35 page study is viewable in .pdf form

Page 20 explains why this study DOES NOT rule out mercury as a contributing factor in autism.
Those of us who have tested our kids for mercury and used (and understand) chelation understand why blood level mercury is not a valid test for neurological dysfunction.
Whoever wrote the above synopsis reached a biased conclusion based on his own prejudices. I can't believe I'm having to point this out to fellow autism advocates.
