A study recently completed at the University of Iowa provides insight into a little known syndrome that may also shed some light on autism. Timothy Syndrome, only known to affect an estimated 20 people worldwide, is a condition in which the heart may be malformed, and the patient experiences irregular heartbeats. It may also be a cause leading to autism and other nervous system issues.
