Cooking with Tammy’s Tips for Eating Out and Keeping Your Child GFCF

Mexican:

Take your own chips, chicken, black beans, salsa

Italian:

Take your own spaghetti

Steakhouses:

These are the easiest to go to. Take your own bread, but you can order a plain steak (no butter, no spices), plain steamed veggies or plain baked potato.

McDonalds:

Take your own buffalo burger and fries

Burger King:

You can have the fries there (GF), but take your own buffalo burger or chicken

Chick-Fil-A (A personal favorite):

Take your own chicken, but you can eat the fries (GF) and fruit there

Cooking with Tammy’s Tips for Your Child’s Birthday Party:

You want to serve food at your child’s party but want it to be GFCF so they can enjoy what everyone else is eating…. Here is a sample menu of what you can serve:

  • Rice crispy treats- cut them in the shape of their age!
  • Popsicles
  • Hot dogs on the grill (I recommend Applegate Farms uncured turkey hot dogs and uncured chicken hot dogs)
  • Lays potato chips
  • Fritos
  • Fruit
  • Fruit leather

If you’re doing a piñata, fill it with DumDums, Smarties, balloons, fruit leather, and small toys or pencils!
