Diego has always had feeding issues from the day he was born he was not able to latch on to breastfeed....I didn't give up trying for 4 months but it never happened. He eventually developed issues transitioning to table food...I thought I could fix it, feeding therapy is under the scope of an SLP's practice but it did not get fixed......We noticed that once we got Diego's sensory issues under control (not fixed but just better) we were able to work on feeding again.

Well, I guess I will start off my first blog by saying....I don't know what to put under my Autism Connection.....am I a parent of a child on the spectrum??
