And so it begins. It feels like we’ve been waiting for the beginning of the action portion of our diagnosis forever instead of since, well, the diagnosis. There’s a profound statement for your Monday morning.

To eat it, or not to eat it...

Food. Should be simple enough. It's one of the basic needs all of us humans have. Yet, it is becoming clearer and clearer to me how crazy food has become. I mean that literally.
Yesterday, a co-worker asked me if I had thought of doing a food journal for Jacob. A what!? Lady, do you not realize that I work full time, go to school part time, have three kids and a husband? I blog, woman. Whatever this food journal is that you speak of is NOT FOR ME. Well...

The naming of this blog wasn't easy. I didn't want to use any of our recent diagnosises in the title because they might change along the way. The other creative names I came up with were already claimed by other Blogger bloggers. I wanted to use the word 'Adventure' because this is a spin off of our family blog and the word 'adventure' implies a little bit of fun. So, here you go. Welcome to Perceptive Adventures!
