Welcome to all our new friends from the Texas State Conference on Autism! We are so happy to have been able to meet so many of you face to face that we have known for some time as "online friends", meet many more of you who are just getting to know the AutismSpot community, and we are thrilled to be able to bring SpotUniversity to so many of your schools, clinics, and professionals who are looking for a training resource.
To Dina, Debbie, the volunteers, sponsors, and presenters that pulled together this great conference we say thank you. It is always such a difficult task to host and deliver an event of this size. Congratulations on a successful event!
Here at projectLD, we are extremely pleased to be approaching year end knowing the AutismSpot community now spans more than 130 countries and that SpotUniversity is bringing great value to professionals and schools. As we head into 2009 there are some very exciting things we want to share.
First, SpotUniversity.com is bringing Learning Differences training to Educators (General Ed and Special Ed), Professionals, and now Parents so that everyone has access to comprehensive training and information on how best to work with children that have various learning differences in the classroom. Additionally, SpotUniversity is becoming the "spot" for schools, districts, clinics and institutions to deliver their own customized training to their staff members at a fraction of what it costs to deliver face to face. Using the SpotUniversity format and our technology and media expertise, we capture the custom training, host it, deliver it and manage it ongoing so that school staff can access their critical training 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. No longer do you have to hope that no one gets sick and misses a training, no longer do you have to be concerned about the loss of intellectual property going out the door when one of your master teacher/trainers retires or leaves, and no longer do you have to be concerned about trying to schedule every single individual to attend mandatory training. This can all be produced, filmed, and delivered inside the secure SpotUniversity platform customized for your school, district or clinic. Contact Jay Espaillat jespaillat@projectLD.com to learn how you can make this happen.
So what else is going on you ask? We are preparing to roll out new products and training resources that can only be found in the AutismSpot store. Stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks as we roll out these exciting new products and training resources. Also, we are establishing partnerships with a number of leading professionals to bring their custom content training to you. The array of training, resources, and life critical information that will be available is very exciting. 2009 is going to usher in a lot of exciting things for the AutismSpot community, SpotUniveristy.com, and projectLD.
Did you hear there was even more news? You're right....but we don't want to overload you with so many new things at once so I am going to keep a couple of these other things for an update later this next week. Hope that sounds like a good deal to you. 2009 is certainly going to be exciting.
