KidSpeak is taking a break from blogging to wrap up the rest of the spring semester, to prepare for the summer semester and to spend some time with family and friends! We will be back in mid-June with lots of new ideas for Father’s Day, themed play dates and more.
In the meantime, we recommend taking a look back at our older blogs……scroll through and pick ones that may catch your eye. Read blogs that you’ve already read, they may have a different effect on you and your family now than they did when you initially read them. Share links with friends that you think would benefit from a read. This is also the perfect time to start prepping your child for any special summer camps or vacations. The more exposure your child gets to any unfamiliar events, the more successful they will be when it’s time to have fun! Do fun art projects relating to the events, read theme-related books, write your child social stories preparing them for what will happen, show your child old photos from previous events, take your child to the area in advance to let them get familiar with the environment and more.
Have fun preparing for the summer and we will be back in June!
