Introducing AutismSpot's Newest Feature: "Ask Kathy!"

Submitted by Craig on Thu, 05/03/2012 - 21:17.

We are very proud to announce the launching of AutismSpot’s newest feature - ”Ask Kathy!” Each and every week, Ms. Fox, an Autism Specialist with over 25 years of experience working in the field, will take questions from our readers.

Do you have a child living with autism? Are you a teacher or therapist who works with students living with autism? Do you have a question about sensory/sensory processing, communication, social/emotional, or behavior? If so, then “Ask Kathy!”

Kathy Fox is a graduate of West Chester University (PA) with an MA level certification in Special Education. She currently works as the Autism Specialist at the Arc of Chester County (West Chester, PA) and has over 25 years of experience working with children, and more recently adults with Autism. Kathy offers trainings to both families and professionals. The trainings for families have been refined to more fully enable parents to learn strategies to support their child with autism in the home and the community.

Okay, so here is how it works: Ms. Fox will answer one question from our readers per week! You can post your question directly on AutismSpot's Facebook page, or on SensorySpot's Facebook page (which is our sister site)! Ms. Fox will post her answers to your questions directly on our Facebook pages.

Again, we are very proud to have Kathy Fox join our team, and look forward to her contributions! And, readers/friends – we look forward to your questions, so ask away!
