Did you know that March 2 - 6, 2009 is Exceptional Childrens' Week? Well, if you didn't know this you are in good company. Just as a test - look on the internet for the dates of Exceptional Children's week for this year. Let me go ahead and tell you that it is very difficult to find.

Now look for information on Exceptional Children's week - like a logo or publications or something. You will also have a difficult time. It is a shame. The week that we have to celebrate our student's uniqueness, their loving nature, to educate others about their struggles and the hope for the future....is not given the importance that it deserves.

Well, I give you a charge - do something for this next week to educate others about our students with disabilities.
