I was hurt by arriving late. The next time I'll leave the house at 2:10 pm, not 2:15 pm to get to a 2:30 pm meeting. (It only takes fifteen minutes from my house to get to the meeting.). I felt too rushed.

I am Vice President and I have to take notes for the Secretary. I am one of the few Self Advocates who can read and write. Some are just learning to read and write, and the rest don't know how to read and write. I am so mad and resentful because of this. We are all Adults.

The Head of the Arc, S.H., was there at the meeting. I was so surprised even though he is the Advisor.

S.H. told Us wha thappened to K., the Kawanis Advisor, because Everyone was worried. he said that she had surgery and would be gone for another three weeks. Our President, Y, gave her a get well card a few days ago. I hope that S.H. will be at the next Kawanis Aktion Club meeting in two weeks.

A boy, named Roy,got upset when S.H. said an old Advisor at the Arc was thrown out of a nursing home, because the staff couldn't take car eof her because she had Parkinson's Disease. At first, S.H. made it sound like she was just thrown out away like trash. He needs to be more careful how he says some things.

I was pleased with ideas for fundraisers: Greeting Cards by C, was one idea for a fundraiser. Next time I'll ask Someone to donate a cake for a raffle and talk about the Humane Society Service Project. It was where another town donated food and pet supplies to an Animal Shelter.

I hope things get better in this Service Club because I am so upset at how things are going Now.
