Madeline told Isabella a joke the other day. It was supposed to go like this:
Knock, knock.
Who’s there?
Banana.
Banana who?
Knock, knock.
Who’s there?
Banana.
Banana who?
Knock, knock.
Who’s there?
Banana.
Banana who?
Knock, knock.
Who’s there?
Orange.
Orange who?
Orange you glad I didn’t say, “Banana”?
hahaha!
Well, it didn’t go like that because Isabella’s attention span was short at the time (though she’s never been diagnosed with ADD/ADHD or anything like that). So, Madeline’s actual joke-telling experience inspired a little wrapper joke that to me is funnier than the original joke. It goes like this: how do you tell a person with ADD a joke? Answer: like this:
Knock, knock.
Who’s there?
Banana.
Banana who?
Knock, knock.
Who’s there?
Banana.
I’m bored.
(she walks away. joke over)

HILARIOUS! :)
and so, so true ;) or in sam's case, often he'll start laughing before the punch line is given or even if he doesn't get it b/c he thinks he is supposed to... and he laughs and laughs... so much that it's like "dude, it's been over for 30 seconds and it really wasn't even that funny".... i think that the laughing part (in a loud dramatic laugh that turns into fake tears b/c he's force-laughing too hard) is sometimes more painful than the joke ;)
